NEC Thailand holds Public Safety Solutions Day 2017 in Bangkok
Bangkok, 8 August 2017 – NEC Corporation (Thailand) Ltd. announced it will successfully hold a public safety themed event on 3 August at the Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok.
NEC showcased a wide range of technologies and solutions in public safety and transportation, as well as provide insights into Internet-of-Things deployments that aim to support Smart City and Smart Society projects for Thailand 4.0.
NEC’s NeoFace®, an AI facial recognition engine boasting the world’s highest* authentication accuracy, was showcased at the event. The solution generates real-time alerts when matching faces against a watch list of individuals, thereby quickly finding a match for a person of interest. Combining this with portable live feeds from wearable cameras, NEC’s Wearable Situational Response System provides security officers on the ground instant analysis of what they see, enabling them to provide actionable intelligence to commanders.
