NEC holds Innovative Solutions Fair 2018 in Bangkok

Contributing to the Thailand 4.0 initiative through digital transformation

Bangkok, 1 February 2018 – NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) and NEC Corporation (Thailand) Ltd. will hold the NEC Innovative Solutions Fair 2018 on
8 February 2018 at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at Centralworld, Bangkok, Thailand.

Themed “Digital Transformation to Build a Smart Society,” the event will showcase around 30 exhibits featuring NEC's latest advancements in and deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in sectors such as Government for Public Safety and Smart Cities, as well as Enterprise for Manufacturing, Hospitality, Multimedia, Retail and Healthcare, among many others.

The event will be attended by distinguished guests such as Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister H.E. ACM Dr. Prajin Juntong, who will deliver the executive address. In addition, NEC’s President and CEO, Mr. Takashi Niino, will make the keynote presentation titled “Orchestrating a brighter world – Co-creating the future through digital transformation.”

Key highlights include smart city technologies based on NEC’s portfolio of AI technologies, NEC the WISE*, such as NEC’s world’s No.1** face recognition and fingerprint technology. In addition, smart classroom and smart presentation technologies will be demonstrated in the event, where delegates can also experience cutting-edge NEC technologies and gain insights into next generation Industrial IoT solutions, Smart Future Retail solutions, and many more.
