NEC Facial Recognition Systems Showcased at “A Journey of Biometrics in Financial Services"
Bangkok, 2 October 2018 – NEC Corporation (Thailand) Co., Ltd. showcased its biometric solutions at a seminar titled “A Journey of Biometrics in Financial Services” organized by the Bank of Thailand (BOT) and held in Bangkok on September 26th.
As biometric technology moves closer to becoming an instrumental driver in the implementation of financial services, the BOT organized this event to share the latest biometric developments for financial organizations, such as e-KYC (Know your Customer) solutions.
NEC exhibited "NeoFace," its flagship facial recognition artificial intelligence (AI) engine, featuring the world's highest recognition precision (*). NEC's face recognition system is implemented in more than 40 countries by a wide range of public and private organizations, from law enforcement organizations to finance and banking sectors. NEC is also a provider of e-KYC solutions powered by facial recognition technology to commercial banks.
